A well-earned day of R&R

Laurie and Denise awoke amazingly well rested despite the short sleep shift and the long journey over the last two days. Due to the late arrival at nearly dusk the day before, the team decided to
bed the plane down at Wiley Post airport with larger runways and controlled airspace in central Oklahoma City.

After the late dinner in town, the ladies headed for the Twin Lakes Airport  (2OK2) by car to bed down at Teresa's house for the next couple of nights. The plan was to relax and enjoy 'NOT' flying for a few hours and finally getting some quality calories and a chance to decompress before Friday's flight to the race starting point.
