The ladies made the fast and uneventful trip down from hot Oklahoma to an even HOTTER Avenger Field (KSWW) in Sweetwater, TX. The leg took about 2.5 hours. Over the next day all the racers are due to report in by 12:00H Saturday 6/16/18. The ladies tried to use their drill-down tie-downs at the field however the ground was so hard, not even nearby helpers could get the stakes started. They will replace the tie downs for some steel spikes which should penetrate the hard surface and secure the plane. Overall, Teresa and Denise are thrilled to finally have the plane and a plan ready for the start of the race next Tuesday.
