Clouds getting in the way

The crew made a quick flight of it early today heading West to Indiana where they put down for a quick break. Unfortunately the pressure system and clouds had the same idea and rolled in and around KJVY in Jeffersonville, IN and added a nasty IFR layer in-between clear skies and the airport. Denise made an attempt to see if she could poke a hole to freedom but good sense prevailed since the terrain is hilly and an unfamiliar airport to navigate. So the ladies circled back and put down again for an extended stay to see if the clouds would clear out a bit this afternoon to continue the journey. There is plenty of time built in the schedule so Oklahoma and Sweetwater for the start of the race will still be here so no worries.
