Instrument training along the way

The ladies got an early start today at 06:45 out of KUNI which is the Ohio University public access airport and their overnight spot for Tuesday. Since Denise was available as a check pilot, Ms. Laurie got a chance to do some instrument flight training along the way. The duo stopped at the Piper Aviation Museum in Lock Haven, PA.

On the ground, in hopes that the Purple Hearts will have favorable winds and can land at 2OK2's
tight runway, we have set-up the mower as a tug with a Cherokee tow bar to bring the plane inside for the night. As an alternative plan to challenging winds, we have an open hangar available at Wiley Post should the ladies choose to use the reliever airport as their final destination.
