Purple Hearts in Oklahoma

Despite the slow blog posting, fans will be relieved to know the ladies MADE IT to Oklahoma on 6/13/2018. Yes it was a very long haul after being held over for weather in Indiana for 4 hours. At 4PM Eastern the plane finally garnered a few holes in the clouds and made the final but long push into Oklahoma City.

Save for one brief fuel stop in Missouri, the team ran a 6 hour flying stint to Wiley Post airport and  based overnight at Atlantic, the local FBO. Laurie and Denise were happy to be grounded after the long day but requested some Bar-B-Que to celebrate their hard-earned Okie arrival. Congrats ladies on a fantastic ferry flight of over 1200 miles in two days. The plane performed flawlessly and the team is excited  for the Sweetwater, Texas relocation coming up on Friday morning.
